Privacy policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
Timber Ridge Collective (“TRC”, “we”, “us”) runs timberridgecollective.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The short version: we use what you send us to get back to you about it. We don’t sell it, rent it out, or add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask to join.
What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, a subject and a message. If you email or call us directly, we have whatever you send or tell us, along with your email address or phone number.
We use this to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked about, whether that’s a clinic, the race team, a partnership or something else. We keep the conversation so we have the history if you get in touch again.
When you visit the site
Like most websites, ours is hosted by a company (Netlify) that records basic technical details when a page loads: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, and when. Those logs are used to run and protect the site. We don’t use them to identify you or to follow you around the web.
Cookies and analytics
The site doesn’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and it doesn’t set cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. It is never sent to us.
Who sees your information
- People at TRC who need it to answer you.
- Netlify, which hosts the site and receives contact form submissions for us.
- Microsoft 365, our email provider, when we write back to you.
These companies handle your information on our behalf, not for their own use. We only share it with anyone else if the law requires it, for example under a valid court order or subpoena. If TRC ever merges with or is bought by another company, we’ll let you know before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We never sell personal information, and we won’t use your name in our marketing without your permission.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to help you and to keep a record of our conversation. If you’d like them deleted sooner, ask us and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we have about you,
- correct anything that’s wrong, or
- delete it.
Send your request to the email address at the bottom of this page. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act on it, and we won’t treat you any differently for asking. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights, such as complaining to a data protection authority.
Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS, so what you type into the contact form is encrypted on its way to us. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive details like payment card or ID numbers through the form.
Children
The site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you’re looking into a clinic for a young rider, please have a parent or guardian get in touch.
Where your information is kept
TRC is based in Montana, and the services we use store data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be sent to and kept in the US.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll also point it out on the site.
